About Southern Pride Car Wash
Southern Pride Car Wash is one of the self-service car washes listed in Fletcher, North Carolina. The business is registered at 3957 Hendersonville Rd, Fletcher, NC 28732; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as car wash, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Fletcher is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Fletcher is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I've got a full size truck that is 7' tall so i cant use most drive thru cat washes. Well id seen this wash used quite a bit so I figured it must be a good one and decided to give it a try. I only had $15 on me, but surely that would be enough. Its $3 to start, and I spent 6 dollars prewash and soap on the brushing. Everything was going fine until I went to rinse. I figured 'Another $3. I timed it perfectly'. The coin machine jammed or something. It had problems when I loaded it before, but this time it wasn't giving me my quarters back that it didn't accept. All In all, I plugged $14.50 worth of quarters, and the machine said I needed $2.25 more. I never got a rinse. So I drove away covered in dirty pink suds. Now my truck looks worse than it did when I showed up, im out 14.50, and I wasted 25 minutes. I would definitely NOT recommend this carwash.

I have lived in this area for years. There is not another car wash in 50 mile that can even come close to being as good as this place. I have been using this car wash for just a little over 30 year's. They keep thier equipment well maintained and make sure that you won't run out of soap, wax, tire cleaner, exc. They generally keep up with the trash and vacuums where the vacuums do what they should and if you have trash you can put it where it belongs. If you use other car washes in the area your wasting your money, at least for this type. If you go to one of the automated washes you will end up with scratches and Swirl marks on your vehicle. Thanks for 30 years of good consistent service Southern Pride. Keep doing what your doing, it works!

I thought it was too expensive. I had everything moved and floor mats out before I even turned on the vacuum. Still couldn't sweep just the front seats in one pay cycle. Had to put more money in to finish. The wash was the same way. Had to hurry to get through each cycle before money ran out. Which left big dirt spots that got missed because I was moving so fast. I don't think there is a spot free rinse. I had to wash, by hand, all the windows because of streaks and water spots.

I visit this car wash once a week, it's very easy to get to they have pretty close to eight stalls I believe, great vacuum cleaners and all their chemicals work inside the car wash. I've also met the gentleman that owns it and runs it and he is a nice guy it keeps the place very clean and maintained. I give the Southern pride car Wash of five star. And I will continue to give the owner of my business
